A man attacked Punjabi actor Aman Dhaliwal in a Grand Oaks, California gym this past Tuesday.
Dhaliwal was assaulted in the parking lot of the Planet Fitness gym, sustaining multiple injuries from the knife and hatchet used by the assailant Ronald Chand, Indian Express reported.
Both men ended up inside the gym, where a video of the incident shows the assailant attacking Dhaliwal with a knife and threatening other gym-goers.
Dhaliwal had several stab wounds to his upper body and was hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries before being released, Deadline reported.
Chand sustained minor injuries and was hospitalized. Afterwards, he was sent to Robert Presley Detention Center for attempted murder with a bail of $1 million, according to Deadline.
