Children of Japanese Americans incarcerated in US Concentration camps are joining the fight against indefinite detention by the military, reported the Huff Post. Among those supporting the challenge are the children of Fred Korematsu who successfully overturned the legality of the incarceration camps in the US Supreme Court.
“During WWII, President Roosevelt essentially issued the military a ‘blank check,'” Korematsu’s children wrote in a friend-of-the-court brief.
