NY Times: Asians Too Smart for Their Own Good

College CampusAn op ed piece in the NY Times asks the question if Asians are too smart for their own good. A 2009 study found that white students were three times as likely to be admitted to selective universities than Asian American students with the same academic record. A professor at Northwestern University asks Will Harvard still be Harvard with so many Asians?”  She also wonders what lessons are kids learning about hard work and good grades?
