CATEGORIES

HollywoodA report by a Chinese columnist is questioning why more than 3 million dollars earmarked for programs to help kidnapped children has been transferred to Jackie Chan’s Charitable Foundation Beijing.

The report said the transfer was done to benefit the foundation’s staff which gets a 10 percent management fee cut of all money received.

But Jackie Chan denied that to Channel News Asia.

“My charitable foundation does not charge any management fees. All operating costs are borne by me alone. I don’t know if there are still any foundations in the world that have zero operating costs,” said Chan to Channel News Asia.
