EMusicality: #Chinese American Reportedly Makes Top 40 of @AmericanIdol (spoiler alert)

Emusicality reports that Eric Liu, a contestant from last season’s American Idol competition will make the top 40 this year. Liu told American Idol last season that he’s unique and has something new to bring to the table. He looks to be a change from other Asian American contestants on American Idol.
