South China Morning Post: Police Say No Evidence Found that @eyeofJackieChan Committed a Crime

scales of justice2Police have so far found no evidence action hero Jackie Chan illegally used guns and grenades in Hong Kong, reports the South China Morning Post.

The suspicions arose following remarks by Chan that he used guns and grenades to confront triad members who had been harassing him.

Possession of firearms is subject to 14 years in prison in China.

The investigation is continuing, but “So far, there is no evidence to suggest that a crime was committed in Hong Kong,” a police spokeswoman said.
