It happened during a break in the relationship between Padma Lakshmi and billionaire Teddy Forstmann. Lakshmi conceived a child with Venture Capitalist Adam Dell and a paternity test confirmed the baby was Dell’s, reported Vanity Fair.
Fortsmann wanted to raise the child, as long as Lakshmi didn’t reveal the father was Dell. But the results of the paternity test were later revealed in a custody lawsuit filed by the brother of Dell Computer’s Michael Dell.
Vanity Fair contributing editor Rich Cohen revealed the details in the Vanity Fair story. He once had a job as a ghostwriter for Forstmann’s memoirs. The billionaire died in 2011 from brain cancer.
