There are rankings for just about anything these days, and marketability of celebrities and athletes is no exception. The Houston Rockets can’t even get on local TV in the Houston market, let alone the national stage. The New York Knicks being from New York get on national TV all the time. A poll from Texas-based promotional agency The Marketing Arm shows just how much Lin has fallen on the national stage in just three months. Lin ranked 153rd in athletic endorsements just three months ago. Now he has dropped to 556. Similar drops were seen in the categories of appeal, aspiration, breakthrough, influence, trendsetter and trust. Full poll results are in ESPN
