CATEGORIES

scales of justice2A suspect involved in a love triangle that dates back to 1999 will appear in court more than 13 years after one of his girlfriends turned up dead in Reno, Nevada.  Edward Wong is accused in the murder of Alice Sin.  Police have long suspected the boyfriend who reported Sin missing. Wong moved in with his second girlfriend shortly after Sin was reported missing. The two would eventually marry and then divorced in 2003.
The SF Chronicle reports the second girlfriend Jessica Tang turned on her ex-husband and father of her two children. The defense claims her testimony was coerced under threat and intimidation by police. The SF Chronicle has extensive details of the years following the murder and what lead police to Wong.
