Jeremy Lin’s turnaround in his play the last month or so coincides with the return of coach Kevin McHale to the Houston Rocket bench. The coach was gone for a prolonged absence while he dealt with the long illness and death of his daughter. McHale has gotten Lin to return to the aggressive play of last season which sparked the Linsanity craze, according to an analysis by Bleacher Report. The point guard is now attacking the basket, utilizing his quick first step and cutting straight to the basket rather than go around screens and hesitating. Most of these plays come off the pick and roll, which has once again turned into a very effective play for the Harvard grad. Bleacher Report posted several videos of this renewed aggression and you can see them here.
