A judge in Vietnam has ordered a casino to pay a Vietnamese American $55 million he won playing the slot machines at the Palazo Club inside the Sheraton Saigon Hotel, reports TuoiTreNews. Lawyers for the Dai Duong Company argued the winnings were invalid due to problems with the slot machine. It removed the machine from the Casino to show it was programmed only to award the maximum of $46,000. But the judge threw that evidence out saying the machine was sent out for testing without a witness. The company had argued unsuccessfully that the winner was only entitled to $300.
