A special two hour presentation on Dateline on NBC provided an insight into the mind of Gisselle Esteban, the young woman convicted of murdering Michelle Le, a San Francisco Bay Area nursing student.
It was truly chilling to hear some of the answers she gave police during her interrogation. I can’t imagine what it must have been like for the family of Le to see those tapes.
“Shocking and damning,” described Krystine Dinh, Michelle’s cousin, told MSNBC
The police investigation found Esteban had been planning this murder for months. Esteban went so far as to trick the nursing school into giving her Le’s class schedule.
“We never found out the cause of death because it was out of camera view, but it’s hard,” Dinh explained. “You really just want to go into the screen, grab her and protect her. You know those last minutes of her life were really hard to see.”
