Latinos Post: What Chance Does @Jlin7 Have of Being Named to All Star Team?

basketball court Two days are left in the NBA All Star voting and Jeremy Lin remains 50,000 votes behind Chris Paul for the second starting All Star guard spot for the Western Conference.  That’s been the consistent margin separating Paul from Lin since vote results were released. It appears unlikely Lin will win a starting spot in the All Star game.  But its still possible the coaches could carve out a spot for Lin

The list of worthy contenders is a long one in the Western Conference. If the choice was based on popularity, Lin would no doubt be selected. Last year he was chosen to play in the NBA Rising Stars Challenge and that game received its highest ratings ever. The Latinos Post sizes up Lin’s chances against the other contenders: Russell Westbrook, Tony Parker, Steve Nash, Stephen Curry and even the recently-returned Ricky Rubio.

What do you think? Does Lin deserve to be named to the All Star team?
