Miami Heat Coach Eric Spoelstra is taking on two of the biggest stars on his team outside Lebron. He benched Dwayne Wade in the 4th quarter along with Chris Bosh in a loss Monday night against the Utah Jazz.
Wade didn’t have much to say about the benching except to say its the coach’s decision. Wade left the game with 11 points in the fourth quarter.
“Coach makes the calls,” Wade said to the Miami Herald. “I’m just a player.”
Everybody in our locker room, staff, players, everybody included, has to give more, and that’s the bottom line,” Spoelstra said. “We have to give more to get us over the hump and get a quality win.”
