With the starting line up to the NBA All-Star game scheduled to be announced today, Jeremy Lin didn’t hesitate to answer when a reporter asked if he felt like an all star.
“Oh, no,” he replied to NBA.Com.
The normally upbeat Lin appeared downtrodden after the Houston Rockets suffered their fifth straight defeat. This time against the Dallas Mavericks 105- 100.
Lin missed a key free throw in the closing two minutes of the game and committed a turnover with 14.9 seconds left in the game. At last count, he was third in the Western Conference All Star Balloting at the guard spot, down 46,000 votes to Chris Paul.
“That’s the furthest thing from my mind, to be honest, being on a five-game losing streak,” Lin said.
