A Chinese American Dance Troupe will be part of the Inaugural Parade Monday celebrating the second terms of President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden, the AP reported
The troupe from Delaware, Wilmington’s Chinese American Community Center Folk Dance Troupe, will alternate between dancing to a traditional Chinese folk song and doing the Chinese lion dance.
The performers range from elementary to college students and will wear Chinse silk costumes.
The Chinese American Community Center Folk Dance Troupe performed in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade in 2009 and the New Year’s Eve parade in London in 2011.
