Little PeteLittle Pete was the King of Chinatown, but on this date in history in 1897, Little Pete would be king no more.

Otherwise known as Fung Jing Toy, he got involved in gangs and rose to the top of the secret society known as the Tong. Legend has it that he’s responsible for killing 50 men. reports the Washington Examiner,

He became paranoid and wore a coat of chain mail, a metal-reinforced hat and slept in a windowless room guarded by vicious dogs. A gunman came in while Little Pete was sitting in a barber chair.

He stuck a gun down his back and beneath Little Pete’s armor and shot him 5 times.
