Glee Star Darren Criss played a song at the Kid’s Inaugural Concert that he has played a thousand times blind folded, but he admitted to E News performing before First Lady Michelle Obama, Dr. Jill Biden and Sasha & Malia Obama made him nervous. He told them he was a fan of theirs, but said he was afraid to ask Sasha and Malia if they were Glee fans.
Criss says being there at the National Mall to watch President Obama’s second inauguration gave him goose bumps. He was watching on the side of the stage when Beyonce performed and he said he shed more than a few tears. Criss told E News he’s a sensitive man, but the tears were more than that. The magnitude of the whole event, he says, got to him.
