Latinos Post: What @Jlin7 Needs to Do to Get to An All Star Level

NBA All Star Game Jeremy Lin came up just 46,000 votes shorts of unseating Chris Paul for one of the two starting guard berths on the Western Conference All Star Team. Then when the coaches picked the reserves, Lin was off the team altogether. That didn’t come as a complete surprise. What Lin has in popularity among the fans, he lacks in his offensive numbers.

Latinos Post put together a list of five things he must do to become an all star.

Lin needs to be more aggressive on offense. He’s taking only 10 shots a game and that’s not enough to produce more scoring.

He needs to take the ball to the basket. The point guard has proven he can take the hard foul. He should be getting to the foul line more and adding to his point production on the line.

Lin averages 3 turnovers a day. That’s 13th worst in the NBA. James Harden actually has more turnovers and ranks as the 2nd worst. But that’s overlooked because he scores baskets.

For the remaining two things Jeremy Lin needs to do to be an all star, check out this article by  Jean-Paul Salamanca in the Latinos Post.
