The new survey released today by National Asian American Survey polled policy priorities and issues important to Asian Americans. More than 4,700 Asian Americans were polled from July 30, 2012 and October 21, 2012.
Among the priorities discovered:
–58% of Asian Americans support citizenship for undocumented immigrants.
–54% cite visa backlogs as a major issue in the Asian American community
–Concern is highest about visa backlogs among Indians, Hmongs, Vietnamese & Koreans
–1.3 million Asian Americans are undocumented.
