Economic Times: South Asians Unite to Call for Humane Immigration Reform
A coalition of 41 South Asian American groups are calling for a just and humane immigration system in the United States, reports the Economic Times
United under the name National Coalition of South Asian Organizations, NCSO urged the Obama administration to keep families together, reduce the visa backlog & create a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants.
“We urge the Administration and Congress to continue to work together and pass immigration policy reform that unites our families, provides us with options towards obtaining visas and citizenship, and ends unjust enforcement measures that have affected so many of our community members, especially in the past decade.
