Joining the 49ers on the sidelines of today’s Super Bowl will be Tina, a former cheerleader with the Golden State Warriors now with the 49ers Gold Rush. Tina graduated from the University of San Francisco with a nursing degree and is a full time registered nurse.
The Filipina talked to Asiance.
“Growing up in San Francisco, I’ve always looked up to the Gold Rush cheerleaders because of their poise, class and their professionalism. I really loved that they weren’t just focused on dance, but on other things such as being into the community. I always wanted to be a professional dancer or try out for a professional NFL team.”
The San Franciscan says she can’t wait to represent her city on the World’s biggest stage.
There is just so much going on the days ahead of the Super Bowl. There are so many events. But the most important thing I’m looking forward to is cheering on our team. I feel like I’m cheering on our city..Our city is having such a great year. The Giants won the World Series. Now, we’re headed to the Super Bowl. The Warriors are having a great season as well. I feel so good about all of us coming together and celebrating and cheering on our guys!
