A year ago this week, Linsanity was born. Jeremy Lin’s break out performances against the New Jersey Nets, Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Lakers put him in the spotlight. If Kobe Bryant truly didn’t know who Jeremy Lin was, he certainly did after the Harvard point guard torched the Lakers for 38 points.
The Golden State Warriors certainly knew who Lin was. The Warriors let Lin sit on the bench during the 2010-2011 season, then cut him before the start of last season. Last night, Lin made sure his old team didn’t forget him. He lead a 3 point barrage hitting a career high five 3’s. The Rockets tied a NBA record for 23 3’s with Lin involved in most of them. He also scored a team high 28 points and 9 assists.
Capital NY reports Lin’s numbers since December 1st have even been better than his numbers with New York. The Capital NY takes a closer look at those numbers and Lin’s upside.
