There’s nothing like good eats to bring foot traffic into the neighborhood. With that in mind, New York Chinatown is going straight for your stomach.
With business still down in the area Post Hurricane Sandy, A Dumpling Rally will be held this Saturday to attract people back into the area.
Similar to a bar crawl, the tour will feature some of New York’s Chinatown most delicious dumpling houses, according to DNAInfo.com
The idea is the brain child of State Senator Daniel Squadron and Rally Downtown.
“People will go to places they have never been before. The event will drive traffic, raise awareness and get people to come back to these dumplings houses,” said event organizer Tom Gray, co-founder of Rally Downtown.
