Hindustan Times: Indian American Company Indicted, Accused of Exploiting Workers

 

Dibon SolutionsA company based in Texas is being accused of hiring workers on H1-B visas with the intention of creating a low wage work force that was only paid when they could be hired out to third party companies, reports the Hindustan Times,

The multi-count indictment on charges of fraud and misusing the H-1B visa was filed against executives of the Dibon Solutions of Texas – Atul Nanda, Jiten ‘Jay’ Nanda, Siva Sugavanam, Vivek Sharma, Rohit Mehra and Mohammad Khan.

Federal prosecutors allege the workers were lured by the company with promises of jobs at Dibon Solution headquarters, instead they became contract laborers.
