Bleacher Report: Why @NYKnicks May Be Missing @Jlin7 Afterall

LinsanityIt’s the story of the tortoise and the hare.  The New York Knicks and Raymond Felton got off to a fast start.18-5 to be exact.

But since then, the Knicks have basically been a .500 team. points out the Bleacher Report.  Felton has fallen to his average self while back up  Jason Kidd is finally showing his age. The 39-year old’s three point shooting has gone from 45 percent to under 30 percent. Kidd’s overall shooting isn’t much better at 34 percent.

Meanwhile Lin (seen here from a scene in the documentary Linsanity) who got off to a slow start now leads Felton in several key categories. 43.8% to 41% in shooting percentage. 6.1 assists per game for Lin versus 5.74 assists. 1.8 steals versus 1.3, advantage Lin.

Felton does average almost 3 more points per game at 14.56. At best Lin & Felton are playing even, although there’s a strong argument that Lin has been the better of the two players this season.

Sure, Lin is making more money than Felton.  But basketball economics aside, the New York Knicks do miss Jeremy Lin this season. Read the article in the Bleacher Report and let AsAmNews know what you think.
