Nearly 1,000 students are expected at the Midwest Asian American Students Union Spring Conference April 5 & 6th at the University of Michigan.
Some 30 schools will be participating in this year’s conference called Magnify: Explore Yourself, Amplify: Inspire Others. Participants will be broke up into small groups of about 30 people and will attend workshops together. Students will be encouraged to look deeper into their own identities and explore what it means to to be Asian American Pacific Islander. The hope is the students will return to their campuses to inspire others and to make a difference in their communities.
