Allison Zheng, age 8, won honorable mention in the Asian Pacific Fund contest.
She wrote “My Goal As An Asian American Detective.” Yes, she wants to be a detective when she grows up. She writes about choosing an alternative career path from the one favored by lots of Asian parents– doctoring, lawyering or accounting.
