The movie poster warns “Watch Out for the Quiet Ones.” Stanley Yung’s much anticipated movie, Chink, about a Chinese American serial killer has its world premier at the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival on May 4, reports Examiner.com.
In the movie written by Koji Steven Sakai, a Chinese American hates himself so much he learns to idolize serial killer Ted Bundy until he becomes a serial killer himself.
“It’s time for the so-called ‘model minority’ stereotype to die. Take some dynamite and a blowtorch and blow it the fuck out of the water,” said Yung in a bluntly worded news release. “Chink is a slasher movie with a message.”
