Jeremy Lin is poised to play in his first NBA playoff series. The Rockets are pushing to work their way up to the 6th seed in the Western Conference playoffs and remain one game behind the Golden State Warriors and three games ahead of the 8th seed Los Angeles Lakers.
“One a personal level, I am working on playing at the highest level I can play at every night and have a long list of things to work on this summer,” said Lin to the Gospel Herald.
The evangelical Christian has been turning to the bible for his inspiration, particularly Matthew 11:28-30:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
