A self made high tech billionaire is reportedly working to establish an alternative university for Asian American applicants rejected from top Universities such as Harvard, Berkeley & Stanford, reports the Non Profit Quarterly.

The online college will be named Vincent Chin University after the Chinese American beaten with a baseball bat in Michigan after being mistaken for Japanese in 1982.

Hun Loo Gong says enrollment and tuition will be minimal. The hope is future alumni will give to the school after establishing their careers. The university is a response to feelings among some Asian Americans that elite universities are limiting Asian American enrollment by raising the standards for Asian American students.
