14-year old Christopher Huh became interested in the Holocaust in the 7th grade when his English teacher assigned him several books about the Holocaust experience.
The Korean American Christian teen became so interested he embarked on a 14 month journey to research and write a graphic novel about a polish born Jewish grandfather who survived Auschwitz.
Huh has been sketching drawings since he was 6 years old. He told his story to WND.
“I thought it was an interesting subject to learn,” said Huh who attends middle school in Clarksburg, Maryland. “I thought what better way” to teach about the Holocaust “than through a book with words, with pictures.”
