The Houston Rockets celebrated clinching an appearance in the Western Conference playoffs by having a team dinner organized by Jeremy Lin, according to the Ultimate Rocket.
The starting point guard tweeted out to teammates that they had clinched after the Utah Jazz loss to Oklahoma City on Tuesday.
“We had dinner and hung out and just kind of reflected on everything we did,” Lin said. “Our team is getting closer off the court. We just enjoy being around and in each other’s company. It’s not like it’s forced. That’s a good thing. When we get on the court, we want to play for each other. That’s a big part of chemistry.”
Lin says the Rockets has so far surpassed expectations this season, admitting they were not high coming into training camp.
