A professor of economics at Harvard University, Raj Chetty has been awarded the John Bates Clark Medal, commonly known as the Baby Nobel, reports the Silicon India News.
The award goes an American economist under the age of 40 who makes a significant contribution to economic thought and knowledge and is awarded by the American Economic Association.
Chetty serves as both a professor and director of the Lab for Economic Applications and Policy at Harvard. He is also a former professor from UC Berkeley.
The Association praised Chetty for shedding “new light on important public policy questions.”
