NBC Correspondent Ann Curry has joined the Global Mom Relay to raise awareness about the challenges faced by mothers around the world, reports the Baby Center.
“As a journalist, I’ve had the opportunity to meet with mothers around the world who are facing tough challenges in war zones and remote areas without access to medical care for themselves and their children. This is unacceptable. Every mother and every child deserve to live a happy and healthy life no matter where they live.”
In a video taped interview for the Global Mom Relay, she tells the story of her mom and how her Japanese culture taught her never ever ever ever to give up. You can see that interview on the Baby Center
