Vanessa Hudgens joins LA girl group YLA in a romp back into the neon colored lights, funk and vibe of the 90’s in her just released new video, $$$ex, reports MTV.
The young star continues a theme she started with the release of her movie Spring Breakers, breaking out of the High School Musical Disney mode into the steamier side of young adulthood.
“The video is ’90s-inspired, gritty, with a vision of crazy lights and colors. It’s so different than everything else out there. I love it!” she told E! News.
The video was shot in a friend’s Manhattan Beach basement. You can watch it on MTV and see what it took for Hudgens to direct this video.
