Jesuit High in Tampa Bay,Florida is on a roll.
Not only did the Tigers win the state basketball championship this season, but on Tuesday the team got to scrimmage for 90 minutes with Jeremy Lin.
The Tampa Bay Times reports Lin agreed to the scrimmage on the condition that no media be allowed.
Jesuit says the appearance was arranged by a former Harvard teammate of Jeremy’s, Tigers alumnus Nick Plasencia.
“Lin was very generous to say afterwards that he could see why the team was so successful because of their high IQ and maturity,” Tigers coach Neal Goldman said. “Later on he got a kick out of watching clips of the Blue Tide (Jesuit’s student cheering section).”
