Business Standard: Nomination of 1st Indian American Federal Judge Goes to Full Senate

Sri Srinivasan, Nominee Court of Appeals District of ColumbiaThe Senate Judiciary Committee has unanimously approved the nomination of Srikanth Srinivasan as a judge to the DC Circuit Court, reports the Business Standard.

If confirmed by the full senate, Srinivasan would be the first Indian American judge ever to serve on the federal bench.

“Sri is widely regarded as one of the best legal minds in the country, and his breadth of experience makes him extremely well-qualified for the appointment to one of our country’s most important courts. said Rep Ami Bera (D-CA)
