Sampan: Korean American Twins on the Road to Hollywood

posted by Randall

Uatchet Jin and Nekhebet Kum Juch They are identical twins, just 13 years old and already know how to light up both a room and a stage.

Uatchet (WAH-djet) Jin and Nekhebet (NECK-heh-bet) Kum Juch are both profiled in this week’s Sampan.

The Korean American girls were bitten by the show business bug in 2010 after attending the Harvard Art Festival. Since then they’ve appeared together in the King & I, as well as the indie film “Wander My Friends” and the upcoming film ” “Infinitely Polar Bear”.

Despite their young age, they are already learning to face obstacles in their young careers.

“For kids who are Asian, there are not many starring roles,” Nekhebet said.

You can read more about these up and coming stars in Sampan.
