International singing phenom Charice has finally come out as a lesbian.
The Phil Star reports she did it at her 21st birthday party before 67 guests of mostly childhood friends on May 10.
The article was written by her godfather, Bum Tenorio Jr.
Tenorio reports she wore a pair of black pants, a pink long sleeve shirt and a fuchsia bow tie.
“I feel free as a bird, Ninong Büm,” Charice is quoted as saying.

“I’m able to express myself better now. I have come to accept the real me. I have come to love the real me. I now celebrate the real me,” she said.
Charice still maintains contact with Ellen Degeneres and Oprah Winfrey, as well as Barbra Streisand.
“Oprah just told me to keep my cool and not be affected. I assured her, ‘Yes, Oprah, I can handle them. My spirit is made of titanium I will not break’.”
Streisand also offered Charice some advice.
“She was one of those who told me I don’t owe anybody any explanation.” Charice said about Barbra.
