CBS: UC Riverside Student Pleads Not Guilty of Bizarre Murder Plot

This sounds like a made for Hollywood murder plot

UC Riverside student Barbara Wu has pleaded not guilty of soliciting her boyfriend to kill her ex-boyfriend, reports CBS News.

Prosecutors say  Dennis Lin was so shocked by what he says Wu asked him to do, he requested a restraining order against her.

“She made me promise that I would go through with it,” wrote Lin, 21,  in his request for a restraining order.

“She wanted me to tie him up, use a bat to break his legs, kill him, then discard the body,” he wrote. “She wanted us to leave the country after we did all of this to him.”

Lin’s public defender could not be reached for comment.
