Several high profile Asian American entertainers have announced some big projects coming up.
Comedian Margaret Cho is joining Snoop Dog and Robert de Niro in launching new shows on the You Tube Channel, Maker Studio, according to IMDB.
In Transition is billed as a dark comedy about three women just released from prison.

Jackie Chan is taking some time off away from the cameras to pen a stage adaptation of his book, I Am Jackie Chan, My Life in Action, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
“We are looking for a director for the musical right now,” he told reporters at a press conference in Hong Kong. “It’s all very exciting.”
Chan says the musical will be from his own perspective and will focus on his early youth.
The action star is also working on a new book to follow up on his memoir which was written 15 years ago.
Chan also recently received received a lifetime achievement award at the New York Asian Film Festival.
Apl.de.Ap of Black Eyed Peas fame will be performing in a free concert Saturday evening in San Francisco’s Union Square.
The concert highlights a celebration of Philippine Independence Day, “Kalayaan 2013: Celebrating the legacy of Filipino Creativity, Talent and Ingenuity.”
