A college professor at the University of Central Florida in Orlando is being accused of making bigoted remarks in the classroom, remarks he doesn’t deny making, reports Opposing Views.
The Council of American Islamic Relations has loaded video of the class on You Tube and is asking the University to review the classes being taught by the professor.
“So why? Why do so many Muslims relative to other religions want to kill us? The answer is easy. Very easy. It’s seven letters: culture,” Professor Jonathan Matusitz tells his class.
CAIR called the remarks hate speech and bigoted, but Matusitz thinks otherwise and so far the University has not condemned the remarks.
“They’ve never been in my classes,” Matusitz said to WFTV in response to CAIR. “They don’t know the context of my classes. I think they’re wrong.”
