Bruce Lee40 years after his death, the legacy of Bruce Lee remains strong.

According to The Nation, Congress enacted legislation sponsored by the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus and co-sponsored by many Republicans honoring the iconic martial arts figure.

A statue of Lee had been dedicated in Los Angeles’ Chinatown and a new film on his life recently debut, “I Am Bruce Lee.”

“From my point of view, the 20th century gave us just two icons who rose above time, space and race: There was Muhammad Ali, and there was Bruce Lee.”  said filmmaker Pete McCormack.

His daughter Shannon who executive produced the film put it this way. “My dad didn’t see limitations in himself or in other people. He did what he did his way, and left behind an extremely unique footprint.”
