Does the @HoustonRockets Drafting of a Point Guard Mean @Jlin7 Is On Way Out

Jeremy LinRumors are sure to intensify this week that Jeremy Lin is on his way out from the Houston Rockets.

The Rockets drafted Isaiah Canaan a point guard out of Murray State with the 33rd pick in the NBA draft.

Canaan is described as an explosive scorer. His selection now gives the Rockets three options at point guard as Patrick Beverley impressed people with his play as well last season.

Rumors have been flying that Houston is one of two top teams where Dwight Howard would like to go as sources have indicated Howard does not want to return to the Lakers.

The Lakers could trade Howard in a sign and trade deal with Houston for Lin and Omer Asik. That would reunite Lin with Mike D’Antoni, the former New York Knick coach who has gotten the most out of Lin.

Users on the blogging site Jeremylin.net have been active discussing a possible trade of Lin.

One poster wrote “Hoping for Lin trade news in the next couple of weeks. Just wanna see this kid play.”

Another said “I hope this was a wake up call for Lin. I think he is too loyal and rusting to a fault. He needs to know that Rox will try to move him.”

What do you think? Would Lin benefit from a trade and do you think one is pending?
