Jeremy Lin returned to the San Francisco Bay Area to score 45 points in a Pro-Am summer league game this weekend, according to the Latinos Post.
The league is made up of top college players and local talent, so not quite on the level of the NBA Summer League, but a good workout for Lin nonetheless. It was in the Summer League in 2010 where Jeremy Lin got noticed by the scouts and eventually was offered a contract with the Golden State Warriors.
You can see highlights from Lin’s Pro-Am action in the Latinos Post.
The video has been making the rounds on the internet as speculation continues about Lin’s future with the Houston Rockets.
According to the Bleacher Report, Mark Deeks of Shamsports.com tweeted “Houston is trying to dump Jeremy Lin’s salary, going so far as to prioritize cap relief over young basketball assets.”

Matt Moore of CBS Sports said today that “Houston would dump him (Lin) in a heartbeat if they needed to in order to get Dwight Howard”
I predicted after Houston drafted a point guard on Thursday to expect more speculation of a Lin trade in the coming days.
However, the trade is by no means a sure thing. Some speculate Lin would only be traded if the Rockets could add two superstars to their roster.
