The forever popular Ann Curry hosted her first prime time special since being replaced as host of the Today Show and propelled NBC to number 1 in the ratings Friday night, according to TV By the Number.
Ann Curry Reports: A Face in the Crowd was also the top rated show of the evening in the all important 18-49 year old demographic, scoring a 1.3 rating.
Curry has slowly been given higher profile assignments since leaving Today after a rocky period in which she was banned by the network from appearing live.
