India West: GOP Reaches out to Indian American Voters

RepublicansThe 2012 election taught the Republicans a valuable lesson–if you ignore a community, that community will ignore you.

An overwhelming 84 percent of Indian Americans surveyed in an exit poll for the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund voted for Barack Obama in the 2012 election.

Republicans are determined not to make the same mistake again.

India West reports the Republican National Congressional Committee has set up an Indian American Executive Council to facilitate communication between the Indian American community and the Republican party.
