A new poll by Wells Fargo Bank reveals that Chinese Americans feel better about their financial future than the general population in the United States, reports the China Daily.
The survey found two-thirds of Chinese Americans said they feel financially comfortable. An equal amount say they feel good about their financial future.
That’s considerably more than the approximately 50 percent of other Americans..
Sixty percent of Chinese Americans say they are better off today than three years ago during the height of the recession. 51 percent of other Americans feel the same way.
Chinese Americans also report having bigger retirement accounts and indicate a willingness to cut back on spending to save for retirement.

“As the fastest-growing population in the US, these behaviors are an asset to sustaining and growing US economic status and housing markets.” said Margaret Liu, a senior vice-president in Wells Fargo’s private-banking division.
