Orlando Sentinel: “All-American Korean” Survives Asiana Crash.

Asiana CrashDavid Eun became almost a household name after the Asiana crash in San Francisco that left two people dead.

His tweet of pictures from the crash site and updates about the survivors went viral and were repeated on newscasts around the world, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

Eun who is a Vice President at Samsung was among those on board the plane.

He immediately began tweeting   about it, then became almost embarrassed when he realized how much attention he brought on himself.

Didn’t “want to divert attention away from crash. Posted updates to let everyone know that majority of passengers seem ok,” he tweeted from @eunner.

He describes himself as an “all American Consumer Internet/Digital Media guy. Father, All-American Korean, Virginian and converted NYer, frequent flier, Vikings fan, squash player, pensive optimist.”David Eun
